HxD Mentorship Event at Nakanoshima Qross

On December 2, 2025, the ACCJ Healthcare x Digital (HxD) Initiative hosted its first exclusive mentorship event for healthcare startups at Nakanoshima Qross.

The event began with an introspective pitch deck workshop led by HxD member Christian Boettcher and special guest Kristin Chen who attended virtually from California. Christian opened with an engaging session on what makes an effective pitch, followed by a Q&A featuring Kristin’s insights drawn from 15+ years as a product leader at companies like LinkedIn, Twitch, and Pinterest. She closed with inspiring advice for the startups in attendance.

In the second half, startups were paired with HxD mentors with diverse expertise from organizations including Eli Lilly, EY, AstraZeneca, IQVIA, K&L Gates, Innovation Dojo, Zimmer Biomet, and more. This mentorship portion consisted of two rounds of 30-minute discussions which sparked productive and meaningful conversations.
