Event Overview This event features a screening of the documentary 『Gaza's Silent Threat』that follows medical workers protecting children from the “invisible threat” of polio in the Gaza Strip, Palestine, amid ongoing conflict. Filmed during the summer of 2024, the documentary provides rare access to one of the world’s most challenging vaccination campaigns, revealing the devastating impact of war on children’s health and the courage and solidarity of those working under extreme conditions to save lives. The event will include a video message from the film's Director Maria Fernanda Lauret, a keynote address by Prof. Abdelraouf Elmanama from the Islamic University of Gaza, a panel discussion, and Q&A.
